Stadler plans to produce converters for trams, trains in Belarus


MINSK(BelTA) – Belarus First Vice Prime Minister Alexander Turchin held a working meeting with Stadler Rail Group CEO Peter Spuhler, BelTA learned from the press service of the government.

The parties discussed further prospects of investment cooperation between Stadler and Belarus. Peter Spuhler informed Alexander Turchin about the plans to set up the production of converters for trams and trains in Belarus. Stadler Minsk plans to promote this product to the markets of the Western European countries. Plans are in place to ramp up the production of wagon bodies.
